Q + A

Are children invited to the wedding?

While we love your children, our wedding is an adult-only event. If you are planning to bring your children and need child care while on Saint Simons Island, we can refer you to some potential recommended sitters.

Do you have a hotel block?

No. We recommend checking AirBnB and VRBO for a place to rest your head. If you prefer to stay at a hotel, please see the Travel + Hotel tab for more details.

Can I bring a guest?

If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name as "Guest" when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself & your guest. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation and noted on the website.

What is formal attire?

The dress code for our wedding is formal. We ask that men wear a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress.

How Can I Access the Beach?

If you are not staying in a beach-front hotel or property, the following are ways to access St. Simon's beaches.

Massengale Park Beach Access: Located off Ocean Boulevard, Massengale Park offers public beach access with ample parking, restrooms, showers, and picnic areas. It's a great spot for families and those looking for convenient facilities.

Gould's Inlet: This popular beach access point is situated at the northern end of East Beach. Visitors can park along Arnold Road and access the beach via a wooden boardwalk. Gould's Inlet is known for its tidal pools, birdwatching opportunities, and stunning views of the marshland.

Coast Guard Station Beach Access: Near the Coast Guard Station on East Beach, this access point provides parking and a pathway to the beach. It's a quieter area compared to some of the other access points, offering a more secluded beach experience.

10th Street Beach Access: Located at the intersection of 10th Street and Ocean Boulevard, this public access point provides parking and a short walk to the beach. It's conveniently located near restaurants and shops in the St. Simons Village area.

16th Street Beach Access: Situated at the intersection of 16th Street and Ocean Boulevard, this access point offers parking and easy beach access. It's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, with nearby amenities and a relaxed atmosphere.
